PSP manager (Asia)

What experience is important:

• 2–3+ years of experience in payments: PSP, fintech, iGaming;
• Experience connecting PSPs in Asia (at least one of the following GEOs: PH, TH, MY, VN, ID, IN);
• Deep understanding of payment methods: APM, Card Processing, Online banking, crypto;
• Understanding of API integrations, webhooks, callback systems;
• Experience with high-load payments;
• Analytical and BI skills (AR, decline rates);

• English — B1-B2.

   

Responsibilities:

Payment infrastructure management:

• Full responsibility for the stable operation of payment methods in ASIA markets;
• Monitoring method availability: uptime, speed, limits, errors, disconnections;
• Daily monitoring of AR, decline reasons, transaction anomalies;
• Updating and balancing cash registers, checking details, managing payout limits.

Integrations and technical support:

• Setting tasks for the integration of new PSPs;
• Integration control: API, webhooks, callbacks, failover scenarios, testing;
• Working with developers to optimize current integrations and eliminate technical debt;
• Preparing technical requirements for new payment solutions;
• Connecting PSPs and developing the payment matrix;
• Connecting local PSPs/banks/e-wallets for TH, MY, PH, ID, VN, and other GEOs in Asia;
• Evaluating provider quality: SLA, payment speed, stability;
• Creating and updating the payment matrix for specific GEOs.

Analyzing problems and incidents:

• Quickly resolving payment issues: delays, cancellations, failures, AR drops;
• Working with support/finance/fraud teams to resolve incidents;
• Maintaining a problem log and preparing recommendations to improve stability.

Analytics and optimization of payment processes:

• Analysis of reasons for declines, chargebacks (if relevant), technical errors;
• Continuous optimization of AR for deposits and payments;
• A/B testing of payment flows, UI, and new methods;
• Creating regular reports: AR, approvals, operational failures.

Market and competitors:

• Payment research for ASIA markets: popular methods, banks, wallets, local requirements;
• Analysis of competitive payment flows and preparation of improvement proposals;
• Continuous monitoring of new methods, providers, and regulatory changes in the region.

Interaction with internal teams:

• With development — integration, monitoring, technical improvements;
• With fraud/AML — limits, velocity rules, risk profiles;
• With finance — reconciliation, balancing, reporting;
• With product — improving UX, flow, and payment scenarios for local markets.

Strategic development:

• Developing a roadmap for the development of payment infrastructure in Asia;
• Scaling methods to new GEOs and duplicating critical PSPs;
• Searching for opportunities to automate processes and reduce costs.
