We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer to join our growing team. A successful fullstack applicant will be responsible for building out the firm's strategic reference data platforms, with a primary focus on UI development. They will take ownership of key projects and components and will be responsible for all phases of the SDLC including analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. As a senior developer, the candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance to junior developers, including overseeing their deliverables, provide architectural guidance, enforce best practices, and conduct code reviews.
A potential candidate will need to understand system and enterprise architecture concepts and will be expected to understand how all components fit together and impact one another. They will work with a global and diverse team of peers as well as liaise closely with Business Analyst, Production Support, and Infrastructure teams. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality and scope expectations.
Develop UI components, screens using the UI technologies such as Angular, React, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS.
Experience in developing applications using Java, Microservices and relational database as a full stack developer.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
Provide level 2/3 support for the application.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Experience with the following technologies:
UI technologies such as Angular (preferably Angular 18+), Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3
JavaScript/TypeScript
Exposure to SQL/PL-SQL on Oracle DB/NoSQL (MongoDB)
REST web services
Exposure to Java (Core, JDBC, Collections, I/O), Spring Boot (for backend services)
Familiarity with standard data structures and algorithms.
Logical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; innovative and solutions oriented
A minimum of 5 years' application development experience, with a significant portion focused on UI development.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
Strong understanding of frontend tools (Webpack, Angular CLI, npm, yarn, gulp etc.)
