MacOS / iOS Developer (Automation + DEVONthink Integration) $$$$ Offline

Who:
We are looking for a skilled macOS developer (3+ years) with mandatory experience integrating and automating workflows with DEVONthink.

What:
You will build an automation system that connects Apple Mail with DEVONthink to automatically organize emails, streamline workflow, and increase productivity.

When:
Start ASAP; 1–3 month trial engagement.

Where:
Europe / Ukraine (remote).

Position Overview:

You will design and implement an automation workflow using AppleScript/JXA to route and tag specific emails from Apple Mail into DEVONthink with reliability, error handling, and clean logic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automation between Apple Mail → DEVONthink
• Use AppleScript or JavaScript for Automation (JXA) to process data, tags, and rules
• Ensure stability, error resilience, and efficient processing
• Work directly with the client to refine, test, and optimize workflow logic

Must Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with macOS automation (AppleScript / JXA)
• Deep understanding of DEVONthink workflows (mandatory)
• Experience with Apple Mail integration or scripting
• Proficiency in JavaScript and macOS development environments
• Ability to deliver clean, reliable automation quickly
• English level B2+

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Shortcuts, Automator, or other macOS automation tools
• Familiarity with email parsing, tagging logic, or productivity tool integrations
• Background with iOS/macOS app development
