We are currently looking for an AI & Computer Vision Engineer for ECITON, our GPS-free swarm platform. You will develop and optimize SLAM, mapping, computer vision pipelines, and deploy ML models onboard drones. This role is critical for enabling autonomous navigation, target detection, last-mile operations, and real-time multi-drone coordination.

🔘 Responsibilities

— Build SLAM systems and object tracking pipelines (OpenCV)
— Deploy ML models for onboard inference
— Develop GPS-free navigation: sensor fusion, obstacle avoidance
— Integrate AI for target detection and decision-making
— Optimize models and algorithms for ARM devices (Jetson, Raspberry Pi)
— Collaborate closely with embedded, software, and hardware teams

🔘 Who we are looking for

✔️ Strong expertise in OpenCV, SLAM, and localization algorithms
✔️ Proficiency in C++ and Python, experience with ROS or ROS2
✔️ Experience training and deploying ML models (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
✔️ Understanding of embedded Linux systems
✔️ Ability to configure, test, and debug systems in field conditions
✔️ Basic knowledge of aerodynamics and motion planning
