Middle+ Java Developer (Legacy Systems Focus) $$$$ Offline

We are looking for an experienced Mid-Level+ Java Developer (5+ years of experience) who can quickly integrate into a high-priority project for Network Rail.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Legacy Code Work: Dive into a complex, intricate, and heavily nuanced legacy system.
• Feature Development: Roll up sleeves and implement new functionality, specifically for adding new Examination Types (e.g., Preliminary, Detailed, etc.) to the System.
• System Migration: Assist in lifting and dropping the system/package into a new, separate environment for a different client, which is complicated due to the legacy nature of the code.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of the existing development team. This is not a standalone role and requires daily team participation.
• Domain Understanding: Rapidly understand the complex domain experience and existing system architecture to translate requirements effectively.

📌 Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience (as a guideline).
• Strong hands-on experience with JSP.
• Excellent analytical thinking; ability to understand complex systems quickly.
• Strong hands-on problem-solving attitude.

• Good conversational English level.
