Senior AQA Engineer $$$$ Offline

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale a world-class automated testing strategy across our mobile app, backend systems, and AI-powered features. You’ll own the development of high-quality automated test suites, ensure financial-grade reliability, and thrive in an engineering culture where AI is an everyday co-pilot.

You should be energized by shaping how QA evolves in a world where AI generates tests, accelerates debugging, expands regression coverage, and augments human insight.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain automated test suites using PactumJS, Jest, and Zod for contract and payload validation.
• Develop end-to-end mobile automation using Maestro (preferred) or Detox.
• Implement API and contract tests across REST, GraphQL, SSE, and WebSockets.
• Test serverless AWS workflows: Lambda, DynamoDB Streams, Kinesis, EventBridge, Cognito.
• Validate stablecoin/blockchain payment flows, transaction accuracy, and failure handling.
• Test real-time systems: chat, presence, streaming updates, AI-driven interactions.
• Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, MCP agents) to generate tests, detect regressions, and speed up debugging.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define quality standards, testability criteria, and release gates.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for zero-regression deployments.
• Contribute to a culture of AI-first QA excellence, continuously exploring new tooling and automation strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of QA engineering experience, with strong focus on automation in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in Jest, PactumJS, TypeScript, and API contract testing.
• Hands-on mobile E2E testing experience (Maestro preferred, Detox acceptable).
• Strong understanding of serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Experience testing financial applications, digital wallets, or transaction systems.
• Familiarity with blockchain transactions, stablecoins, or crypto rails (bonus).
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, AI-driven IDEs).
• Passionate about pushing the frontier of AI-augmented QA.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to reliability, automation, and engineering excellence.
