About the Role
The PMO Lead plays a key role in shaping how projects are delivered across BotsCrew. This position goes beyond project oversight — it’s about building systems that ensure predictability, excellence, and growth.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Delivery and company leadership to establish and maintain standards, ensure operational efficiency, and lead a team of Project Managers towards consistent delivery success.
Your mission: ensure that every project delivers high-quality outcomes that contribute to our business goals, while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction and fostering motivated, high-performing teams.
PMO Lead Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the PMO, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, delivery strategy, and long-term business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Head of Delivery to define strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks across the organization.
- Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Monitor delivery performance using key metrics, dashboards, and analytics to drive predictability, continuous improvement, and informed decision-making.
- Ensure effective communication, alignment, and reporting between project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership, reducing silos and improving transparency.
- Conduct process assessments and project retrospectives, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across delivery teams.
- Mentor, coach, and develop Project Managers, fostering professional growth, leadership readiness, and adherence to best delivery practices.
- Directly manage Project Managers, including hiring, onboarding/offboarding, performance reviews, 1:1s, and day-to-day support.
- Optimize human capital utilization, ensuring balanced workloads and effective resource allocation across the portfolio, and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Manage portfolio-level risks by proactively identifying and mitigating blockers to safeguard delivery outcomes and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Project or Delivery Management within a tech service-based environment.
- Proven experience leading PMs or Delivery teams.
- Extensive project management experience across various methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and contract models (fixed price, time&material, dedicated teams).
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and resource planning.
- Hands-on experience with project crisis management.
- Demonstrated success in meeting delivery KPIs, improving delivery performance, and driving measurable company-wide impact.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate across departments and with C-level stakeholders;
- Strategic mindset and ability to balance operational detail with high-level vision.
- Proven track record of values-driven leadership, acting with integrity, honesty, and fairness in complex situations.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Will be a plus
- Experience in scaling delivery operations or implementing PMO frameworks from scratch.
- Certification in Agile, PMP, or Lean methodologies.
- Certification in Program or Portfolio Management (PfMP, PgMP).
- Passion for leadership, coaching, and organizational improvement.
