.NET Application Migration Architect $$$$ Offline

Overview
We are looking for a senior .NET Architect to lead the migration of legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET Core / .NET 5+ in a highly regulated Azure environment, with a focus on Research, Grant Management, and Clinical Trial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the migration strategy from .NET Framework (ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC, WCF) to .NET Core / .NET 5+.
• Design Azure-based architectures using Azure App Service, AKS, and Azure Functions.
• Modernize codebases to current C# and .NET standards and introduce microservices/serverless patterns.
• Plan and oversee migration of SQL Server to Azure SQL Database / Managed Instance.

• Ensure security, compliance, and governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, and related tools.

   

Requirements

• Strong, proven experience migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET Core / .NET 5+.
• Expert-level knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and WCF.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Service, AKS, Functions, Service Bus, API Management).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL (performance, security, migration tooling such as Azure Migrate / DMS).
• Experience in Research, Grant Management, or Clinical Trial domains and working in regulated/public sector environments.
