Business Intelligence Engineer

🔥 We’re looking for a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to join the data team of our Israel-based client, an innovative product company that’s redefining at-home healthcare worldwide. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end data flow - from designing the data warehouse and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources to creating clear, insightful dashboards and reports that drive decisions for internal teams and external customers.

Responsibilities:
— Design the data warehouse & execute data ETL processes from multiple source systems into the data warehouse;
— Design & build visual dashboards in BI software;
— Assist in business report generation to internal and external customers for business decision-making;
— Work with database administrators and Developers to maintain & improve our data warehousing system for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics;
— Assist in data administration, modelling, and integration activities in the data warehouse system;
— Support the development of BI standards to meet business goals;
— Maintain documentation for all BI processes.
 

Requirements:
— Advanced SQL skills;
— 2+ years of experience designing DWH;
— 2+ years of experience developing ETL or ELT;
— 1+ years of experience developing BI reports;
— Knowledge of DBT;
— Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc.);
— Statistical knowledge and core mathematical ability;
— Ability to take ownership end-to-end;
— Ability to tell a story using data and visualisation;
— Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
— Strong verbal and written communication skills;
— Strong organisational skills;
— Ability to work as part of a team.
 

Nice to have:
— Good programming skills in Python;
— Knowledge of QlikView or Qlik Sense;
— Knowledge of AWS.
