Senior AQA Engineer (Java) $$$$ Offline

We invite an Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to join our highly specialized engineering team working on a critical financial transaction platform. In this role, you’ll help drive the quality and reliability of a high-volume, high-performance payment orchestration system through automated testing and QA best practices. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure mission-critical software components meet quality standards.

Is that you?

• 4+ years of QA Automation experience, including building and maintaining test automation frameworks

• Strong experience with Cucumber and Java

• Experience testing microservices and backend components

• Knowledge of REST, web services, XML, JSON, SQL, Tomcat, and Linux

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar)

• Understanding of secure development practices

• Understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing techniques

• Experience in Agile/Scrum and continuous delivery

• Ability to mentor team members and promote QA best practices

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Strong motivation and high performance, focused on achieving goals and delivering results

• Upper-Intermediate+ English level

Desirable:

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• Background in Payments, FinTech, or Financial Services

• Knowledge of transaction processing systems

• Experience with performance, resilience, or other non-functional testing

Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll ensure the quality and reliability of critical backend systems through automated testing, cross-functional collaboration, and promotion of QA best practices.

• Drive stories to completion, including automated testing and documentation

• Create, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks

• Define and execute automated tests in line with QA guidelines using Cucumber and Java

• Test microservices and backend components for performance and reliability

• Validate REST APIs, web services, XML/JSON data, and SQL interactions

• Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery

• Apply secure development practices and compliance standards in testing

• Participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Mentor team members on quality guidelines and best practices

• Support key stakeholders in decision-making and QA strategy

• Evaluate and report on new testing tools, techniques, and approaches
