Senior Product Manager (PropTech SaaS)

Regtime, Inc. is a NYC-based prop-tech startup building an AI-first platform for regulated housing. We operate at the intersection of real estate, technology, and complex regulation, helping owners, architects, and legal teams manage affordable-housing processes in the most efficient and transparent way.

About the Product

You will take ownership of the client-facing portal of Regtime Builder — a secure workspace used by owners, architects, and legal teams to:

• review and approve documents and data,
• track progress and key milestones,
• see deadlines, responsibilities, and statuses,
• access real-time project information synced with our internal ERP.

This is a 0→1 product with direct business and user impact.

Team

• Product Owner — Founder (NYC)
• Engineering Team — Europe & Canada

You will collaborate closely with both the founder and engineering teams and directly influence the product direction.

ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Discovery

• Shape the product vision and roadmap together with the founder.
• Solicit feedback from existing clients, identify modernization needs and key pain points.
• Run discovery with internal and external stakeholders, translating complex workflows into clear and simple UX.
• Make informed decisions when client requests conflict with internal priorities or timelines.

Product Requirements & Delivery

• Create structured Product Requirement Documents/specs and maintain product documentation.
• Manage the product backlog and participate in grooming and sprint planning.
• Use Jira/Confluence (or similar tools) for collaboration with the team.
• Prioritize effectively when engineering bandwidth is limited.

Delivery & Quality

• Define and oversee QA and release processes while ensuring smooth integration between the client portal and the internal ERP.

Metrics & Analysis

• Define and track product metrics:adoption, engagement, time-to-approval, error rates, and support load.
• Use data to drive decisions and continuous improvements.

AI Functionality

• Identify practical AI use cases (guidance, summaries, risk flags).
• Build simple POCs, assess technical feasibility, understand limitations, and determine real value.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Management experience, including 3+ years in B2B SaaS.
• Hands-on experience delivering complex web products (portals, dashboards, workflow systems).
• Strong skills in requirements definition, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and ability to operate autonomously.
• Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
• Strong English (spoken and written) for collaboration with US-based stakeholders.
• Data-informed approach to product decisions.
• Interest in AI-driven products and practical applications of AI.

Nice to Have

• Background in prop-tech, fintech, or regulated domains.
• Experience as the first/early PM or operating in a Head-of-Product-type capacity.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and client-facing portals.
