Data Analyst (Payment)

We’re looking for a Payment Analyst to strengthen our payment operations, minimize risks, and boost payment conversion across a global product.

Your impact:
- Analyze payment transactions at scale and identify risky users or anomalous behaviors.
- Evaluate the performance of payment cascades and routing logic to find improvement opportunities.
- Work with risk-related metrics and contribute to strategies for reducing payment failures and fraud.
- Generate ideas to optimize operational expenses related to payment processing.
- Formulate hypotheses to increase payment success rates and run experiments to validate them.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to build reliable, data-driven decision-making systems.
About you:
- 1+ year of experience in analytics.
- Strong SQL skills (data extraction, transformation, optimization).
- Critical thinking and the ability to reason through complex transactional logic.
- Solid business acumen (economic/financial background is a strong plus).
- Ability to ask the right questions and clearly articulate insights.
- Strong communication skills — you can explain complex things in simple, structured ways.
- Experience with payment data, risk metrics, or antifraud systems.
- Basic understanding of payment flows, PSPs, cascading, and routing.
- Python (Pandas) for analysis and automation.
