Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the stability and reliability of a rapidly growing FinTech platform.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to test complex financial flows and improve product quality across multiple services.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer in web or FinTech projects.
• Strong understanding of client–server architecture and HTTP protocol.
• Experience testing REST APIs (ApiDog, Postman, Swagger, or similar tools).
• Solid knowledge of SQL (select, join, update).
• Understanding of SDLC and bug lifecycle.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and Git-based repositories.

• High attention to detail, responsibility, and analytical mindset.

   

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of APIs, backend, and web interfaces.
• Validate business logic for transactions, user flows, and system integrations.
• Write and maintain test cases, checklists, and test plans.
• Document and report bugs with detailed reproduction steps and payloads.
• Work with databases to verify data consistency.
• Conduct regression and integration testing before releases.

• Participate in QA reviews, sprint testing, and release validation.

   

Nice to Have

• Experience testing financial, banking, or payment systems.
• Understanding of asynchronous processes (queues, events, retries).
• Experience with monitoring tools (logs, dashboards).
• Familiarity with Docker or cloud-based environments.
• Understanding of event-driven systems or distributed architectures.

• Experience writing and organizing test cases in Qase will be a significant advantage.
