Trainee C++ Engineer for Android

Project Description

Our customer is the top Tier-1 company in the automotive world.
The company is cooperating with one of the biggest car manufacturers to develop infotainment systems for a wide variety of car lines.
The team in GlobalLogic is responsible for maintaining and updating customer products after SOP.
Maintenance includes AOSP, Yocto Linux, and Linux Kernel parts and customer-specific features, bug-fixing, system integration, and validation.
SW Platform: Android 13/14/15, Yocto Linux, Linux Kernel 5.14/5.15
HW platform: Qualcomm 8155, SA8195-AA, 8150

Job Description

• С/С++ development in UNIX/POSIX or Android userspace / NDK
• Understanding of multithreading and IPC
• Debugging
• Profiling

• English - writing/speaking

   

Job Responsibilities

• Updating Android version for customer devices
• Android build system customization
• Implementing customer-specific features 
• Android platform performance optimization (overall, boot time for cold and hold start)
• Bug-fixing
