AWS Cloud Engineer (AI Migration Project)

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Application Engineer (AWS SageMaker Migration) to lead a short-term (1–2 month) migration project. You’ll move an existing AI-powered Next.js application from Synexa AI to AWS SageMaker Serverless, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. This role combines cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and backend development — perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering challenges and delivering end-to-end solutions fast.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with AWS SageMaker (Serverless Endpoints), ECR, IAM, S3, CloudWatch
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Solid understanding of Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps pipelines
• Hands-on Node.js or TypeScript experience (Next.js backend/API routes)
• Strong problem-solving and system design skills — from analysis to deployment

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying or optimizing ML models in production
• Familiarity with Next.js or similar frameworks
• Previous cloud-to-cloud or MLaaS migration experience

Responsibilities

• Design AWS SageMaker Serverless architecture for existing AI workloads
• Containerize and deploy ML models (FLUX.1, Hunyuan3D-2) to AWS ECR/SageMaker
• Refactor backend integrations to replace Synexa AI APIs with SageMaker endpoints
• Implement secure data flows, logging, monitoring, and retry mechanisms
• Run load and functional testing, optimize performance, and prepare documentation

Project Description

You’ll join a focused, results-driven engineering team working on a next-generation AI application that converts text and images into 3D assets.
The goal: fully migrate the system from Synexa AI to AWS SageMaker Serverless, enabling flexible scaling, cost efficiency, and production-grade reliability — all within a 1–2 month engagement.
