Business Analyst (Aviation Domain) (offline)

Do you know that aviation is the safest mean of transportation? Do you know the reasons behind it?

Thanks to constantly evolving standards, strict rules, and regulations, the aviation personnel always know what to do and how to act in any situation that may happen. For this purpose, personnel members should learn these regulations and train their actions in various situations to be proficient and error-free.

Our solution is called to provide aviation staff with virtual trainings before going to the field. This is to make aviation safer and more predictable.

The product we are building will simulate real-life situations occurring in day-to-day operations with the help of modern technologies in 3D visualization. A 3D environment and models must immerse trainees into the situation and create the experience as if they are working with real objects and goods in the field.

This way training will be much more efficient allowing the trainees to polish and test the skills in a simulated situation as close to reality as possible.

Responsibilities:
Elicit business requirements using interviews, document analysis (e.g. business process descriptions), requirements workshops, surveys, on-site visits, and other techniques
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to analyze information, needs, and requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: vision documents, software requirements documents, use cases, user stories
Serve as a conduit between the internal and external stakeholders and the software development team through requirements flow
Manage and maintain requirements from inception to retirement, assess changes, drive requirements prioritization and approval
Successfully engage in multiple projects / assignments simultaneously
Participate in new bids preparation (technical and commercial proposals for new projects) and other company activities, such as interviews, performance reviews, workshops, etc.

Requirements:
2+ years of commercial experience in the IT industry developing web solutions
Experience in writing user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria
Non-functional requirements analysis experience will be an advantage
Ability to read technical documentation (UML, industry regulations)
Experience in wireframes development, understanding the main trends in modern web UX/UI is a must
Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies
At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
BA certification will be a plus
