Senior Frontend Engineer (React) - London, UK to $13000 Offline

Who we are
Vibe Kanban is a YC-backed, London-based startup solving human‑AI interaction for software developers. As AI agents become more capable at writing code, developers are spending more of their time planning and reviewing what those agents produce. Vibe Kanban helps them do exactly that, seamlessly integrating with leading coding agents like Anthropic’s Claude Code and OpenAI’s Codex.

NOTE: This role is onsite in London, UK. We are not interviewing candidates that want to work remotely. We are able to sponsor visas.

What you’ll do

• Own significant parts of the frontend, from architecture to polish
• Shape design and product decisions alongside the founders
• Push performance, reliability, and code quality
• Experiment to find out how AI coding tools integrate best with frontend workflows
• Build features that span local → cloud execution
• Craft the full user experience, including keyboard shortcuts, command bars, and UI interactions

Who we’re looking for

• Ideally you’re full‑stack, but stronger on frontend than we are.
• You should have enough experience to hold opinions about architecture and design when building complex systems. Ours is complex because, for example:
  • Agent chat threads, code, and other data must sync in real time
  • Users live inside Vibe Kanban; it’s a power tool that must feel effortless
  • It’s both information and function dense
• You should be completely confident in your frontend ability. This is the chance to exercise your talent and perform your life’s work.
