Account Executive (Technical Project Lead)

We are looking for someone who can combine account management, consultative sales and light project management.
Your main focus will be to grow existing B2B accounts by increasing their usage of our APIs and coordinating the delivery team to ship the features and integrations they need. You will own both the commercial relationship and the execution flow between the client and our technical team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing B2B/SaaS clients.
- Identify and drive upsell and expansion opportunities (higher usage, additional APIs, new use cases).
- Maintain regular communication with client stakeholders (product, technical, business).
- Collect and structure client requirements for new features, integrations and changes.
- Coordinate with the delivery / development team to plan, prioritise and release work.
- Monitor account health and usage, react early if engagement or usage starts to drop.
- Prepare and run online meetings, demos and follow-ups.
- Keep clear records of opportunities, pipeline and activities in internal tools (CRM, task trackers).
Required experience
- 2+ years of experience working with corporate / B2B clients in roles such as
Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Sales Manager, Technical Account Manager, Project Manager in a SaaS or product company. - Hands-on experience with SaaS, APIs, integrations or technical products.
- Direct collaboration with development / delivery teams on client-driven features or projects.
- Proven measurable impact: revenue growth, upsells, increased usage, improved retention.
- Practical experience with project coordination:
- turning client requests into tasks,
- prioritising backlogs,
- following up on progress and deadlines.
Skills and profile
- Strong English, spoken and written (confident in leading client calls).
- Able to explain technical topics (APIs, integrations, data flows) in clear business language.
- Comfortable in a mixed role: commercial ownership + coordination of delivery.
- Structured and organised: can manage multiple clients and streams of work in parallel.
- Result-oriented: cares about revenue, usage and long-term client value, not just activity.
- Comfortable working in a remote, distributed team with high autonomy.
Location & legal / payment setup
- Preferably based in EU / Eastern Europe, outside Ukraine or with the legal ability to travel.
- Ready to work as a contractor and receive payments via a Ukrainian legal entity (LLC)
(e.g., via FOP or civil contract).
Compensation
- A fixed monthly base salary, aligned with the role and region.
- Additional variable pay (commission and bonuses) directly linked to:
- growth of existing accounts (increased usage and monthly spend),
- successful upsell and expansion of current clients.
