Middle Back End Wordpress Developer

About the Projects:

We are looking for a Back-End Wordpress Developer to join our team and work on scale content-driven websites in the online gaming and affiliate marketing industry. These platforms provide expert guides, industry news, state-specific regulations, and promotional offers, reaching a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites using Gutenberg Blocks.
• Optimizing websites for performance, SEO requests, and user experience.
• Collaborating with other developers, design, and content teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Communicating effectively within the team to ensure project objectives are met.

   

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Wordpress experience in commercial projects.
• Proficiency in PHP 7.4+.
• Experience working with Gutenberg and building interactive UI/UX components using JS/jQuery.
• Ability to develop custom or extend 3rd party WordPress plugins.
• Understanding of WordPress APIs and WP Multisite.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress security best practices.
• Experience with WP-CLI.
• Expertise in working with relational databases (MySQL).
• Proficiency in REST API development and a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, including SOLID principles.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Detail-oriented and responsive to tasks.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
• Experience with Agile task management tools (e.g., Jira) and knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is a plus.
