Requirements

• 4+ years building backend applications in PHP/Laravel.
• Solid experience designing RESTful APIs and managing relational data (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Security-first mindset: encryption, permissions, audit logging.
• Track record improving reliability, performance, and maintainability in production systems.
• Practical experience with caching, background jobs, and event-driven architecture.
• Comfortable with iterative delivery (small PRs, rapid feedback, incremental improvement).
• Level of English - Upper-intermediate +

Nice to have:

• Internal tooling or HR platform background.
• Experience with SCIM or enterprise identity protocols.
• Observability/metrics setup (Prometheus, Sentry, Loki).
• Third-party system integration.
• Multi-tenancy, field-level security, or ABAC/role-based access patterns.

Responsibilities

• Ship robust, low-friction APIs and backend flows—making everyday internal operations seamless.
• Design and evolve modular domain logic (think organization, HR, workflows—not feature laundry lists).
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and field-level data protection.
• Integrate with external systems (Google OAuth/SCIM, Slack, S3) via adapters.
• Ensure auditability and observability from day one (structured logging, metrics, tracing).
• Optimize persistence and caching strategies for speed and reliability.
• Contribute to event-driven patterns for future analytics and integrations.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and domain peers—clear contracts, fast iteration cycles.
