Middle Business Development Manager (Active Client Acquisition)

WebMeridian is looking for a proactive, hands-on Business Development Manager whose main mission is to actively hunt for new clients, build a scalable pipeline, and drive deals to closure.

This is not a classic inbound BDM role β€” it’s for someone who thrives on outreach, experimentation, and making a direct impact on company revenue.

Over the next 6–9 months, your core focus will be active client acquisition: working with cold channels, testing new approaches, expanding the funnel, and turning first contacts into real opportunities.
 

Key Responsibilities

πŸ”Ή Active Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Identify potential clients via LinkedIn, email outreach, platforms, business communities, and partner programs
  • Generate initial interest, qualify leads, and conduct intro calls
  • Manage the full sales cycle: discovery β†’ presentation β†’ proposal β†’ negotiation β†’ deal closure
  • Re-engage existing contacts, upsell, and revive dormant leads
  • Launch new outreach channels and strategies β€” your ideas are welcome

πŸ”Ή Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain and update the sales funnel in CRM
  • Track statuses, forecast results, and report on pipeline health
  • Monitor key metrics: outreach volume, reply rate, SQLs, proposals, closed deals

πŸ”Ή Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with LeadGen, Marketing, and Delivery to align sales processes
  • Prepare commercial offers and presentations with tech leads (based on existing templates)
  • Handoff clients to Delivery post-sale and oversee the first implementation phase (up to 6 months)
     

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in BDM / Sales in IT outsourcing
  • Proven track record of client acquisition via cold channels
  • Understanding of eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM systems, Sales Navigator, and outreach tools
  • Strong negotiation and proposal-writing skills
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English (spoken and written)
     

Nice to Have

  • Existing network or lead base
  • Experience in Magento / Shopify / WordPress segments
  • Regional sales experience (DACH, UK, Scandinavia, US)
  • Background in KPI-driven roles
