Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and gather requirements
• Prepare user stories for features for Scrum team (for backend and frontend teams)
• Document new features
• Manage dependencies and resolve issues
• Conduct meetings and prepare meeting notes
• Support development and QA teams

Required Skills

• Game development experience
• Strong knowledge of business analysis discipline (BA methodologies, best practices, and tools)
• Gathering & elaborating requirements from stakeholders and preparing user stories for new features
• Great communication skills
• Interacting with both business and technical stakeholders (ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language)
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum framework)
• Writing product documentation
• Conducting meetings and maintaining meeting notes
• Strong analytical thinking with a focus on problem-solving and issue resolution
• Experience with Jira and Confluence (creating user stories and documentation)
• Understanding of basic principles of SDLC
• Effective at managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Proactive in working with stakeholders (gathering use case requirements)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau)
• Advanced written English skills
• Advanced Ukrainian skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with platform solution applications
• Practical usage of BPMN or UML diagrams
• Web application knowledge and experience
• UI/UX experience (mobile first)
• Practice with using Web-API (JSON, GraphQL, XML)

Work conditions

• Remote work from EU
• Flexible 8-hour workday, typically between 9:00 - 18:00 CET
• Five working days, Monday to Friday
• Public holidays observed according to Ukrainian legislation
• Business trips to Bratislava every 3-6 months (company provides compensation of expenses)
