.NET Developer - Contract $$$$ Offline

Location: Remote (U.S. Client)
Contract Duration: Approximately 12 months
Engagement: Full-time, Contractor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced  .NET Developer to join our backend development team. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing high-performance APIs and backend services within a containerized environment. The ideal candidate has deep experience with modern .NET technologies, cloud-native deployments, and performance-driven system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using .NET Core / ASP.NET.
• Build and deploy applications within Docker or Kubernetes environments.
• Implement robust unit testing, perform API validation (Postman or similar tools), and handle issue triaging.
• Collaborate on load testing and performance optimization strategies for high-traffic systems.
• Work with Redis or similar caching solutions to improve system responsiveness and scalability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient, reliable, and automated deployments.

• Partner with QA and DevOps teams to ensure stability, scalability, and performance across microservices.

   

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET, C#, and API architecture.
• Strong experience with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of microservices design patterns and distributed system architecture.
• Experience with scalability and performance optimization in production environments.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration / delivery.
• Proficiency in Redis or similar caching technologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed, agile team.

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Exposure to on-demand automated performance testing environments.
• Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
