Product Operations Manager to $5000

About the Role

We’re hiring a Product Operations Manager to own the flow from task intake → triage → crystal-clear specs → delivery, so our developers stay focused and our Head of IT  only touches the highest-value work.
This is a full-time, fully-remote role (40h/week) embedded with IT/Engineering, partnering closely with Operations (COO) on planning, process design, and R&D (including AI-assisted triage).

You’ll build a lightweight system that turns noisy threads into one-page, dev-ready specs, maintains a clean backlog with SLAs, and ships improvements across our brand network without chaos.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Task Intake & Triage
    • Design and maintain a simple Intake Form (Notion/Jira/Linear) with purpose, scope, ACs, screenshots/links, deadline & priority.
    • Triage daily, route fast fixes to juniors, escalate only the complex/high-impact items.
  • Spec Hygiene & Decision Logs
    • Convert long discussions into 1-page specifications (problem, outcome, constraints, acceptance criteria, references).
    • Keep final decisions in the spec (not comments). Archive noise.
  • Backlog & Delivery Cadence
    • Run weekly grooming, WIP limits, and a pragmatic kanban/sprint rhythm.
    • Maintain clear SLAs (small fix ≤2 days; standard ≤7 days; incidents separate lane).
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Be the first line for Discord/Email pings; protect engineering focus with a priority queue and concise status updates.
    • Sync with SEO/Content/Sales on money-page and product changes.
  • Quality & Release Readiness
    • Ensure UAT checklists, release notes, smoke tests, and post-release follow-ups.
    • Track rework / bounced tickets and fix root causes.
  • Metrics & Continuous Improvement
    • Measure lead time, cycle time, SLA hit-rate, rework rate, and correlate releases to traffic/FTD windows.
  • AI-Assisted Triage (human-in-the-loop)
    • Pilot an AI “first-filter” that summarizes tasks, suggests ACs/tags, and proposes ownership; you review and publish.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Core availability Mon–Fri, 9:00–13:00 UK time (GMT+0) for team overlap; remaining hours flexible.

Start Date

ASAP.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–8 years total experience, incl. 3+ years running product/engineering workflows (intake, triage, specs, backlog, delivery) in a startup/agency or media/SEO environment.
  • Strong requirements writing skills: you can turn messy threads into crisp 1-pagers with acceptance criteria.
  • Solid Agile delivery (kanban/scrum), backlog grooming, stakeholder comms; you know how to say “no for now.”
  • Comfortable with web/WordPress ecosystems and collaborating with front-end devs/designers.
  • Tooling: Notion/Jira/Linear, Google Workspace; basics of Figma/wireframing; data-literate with ops metrics.
  • Excellent English, concise writing, and a calm, structured working style.

Bonus Points

  • iGaming affiliate/SEO experience; understands money pages and why speed/uptime impact EPC/FTDs.
  • Experience with automation/AI (Zapier/Make/n8n, LLM assistants) to remove manual toil.

Why Join Us

  • Direct impact: unblock engineering, reduce chaos, and accelerate releases across 60+ teammates.
  • Work closely with Head of IT and the COO on modern, AI-augmented operations.
  • Flexible, fully remote, international environment.
  • Clear ownership, smart processes, and room to innovate.
