Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with strong expertise in mobile and API testing to join our innovative team. You will contribute to a high-performance sports analytics platform that delivers real-time data and insights to a global audience. This role is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring quality across complex mobile applications and data-driven backend systems.

Responsibilities
 

• Perform manual testing of mobile applications (iOS & Android) to guarantee stability, responsiveness, and excellent user experience.
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases for mobile and API-driven functionalities.
• Conduct API testing (functional, regression, and performance) to validate data accuracy and system integration.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to improve the reliability and usability of mobile and backend components.
• Execute cross-device and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent behavior on various screen sizes and OS versions.
• Verify real-time sports data feeds and the correct synchronization between backend APIs and mobile UI.
• Report, track, and validate bugs, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high product quality.
• Ensure mobile apps adhere to responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and best performance practices.
   

Requirements
 

• 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, with a strong focus on mobile (iOS/Android) and API testing.
• Hands-on experience using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools for API validation and regression testing.
• Understanding of RESTful API structure, request/response cycles, and data formats (JSON, XML).
• Experience in mobile app installation, configuration, and debugging using developer tools or emulators.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Solid understanding of testing types: functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and integration.
• Good grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling effective front-end issue analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly with development teams.
   

Nice-to-Have
 

• Experience testing sports analytics platforms or real-time data-driven products.
• Knowledge of backend technologies such as Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Solr/Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with automated mobile testing tools (e.g., Appium, XCUITest, Espresso).
• Passion for sports and technology, with an interest in improving the fan experience through data innovation.
• Previous experience in GameDev or Fintech projects.
