Role: SEO/GEO Specialist – AI Visibility

 

Mission

Turn GoGloby into top-referenced sources across AI search platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude — not just traditional Google SERPs.

 

The goal: rank in AI responses, not just search results.

 

Responsibilities:

1) LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization) Strategy

  • Audit how ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude describe the brand and its content.
  • Track citations, mentions, and source visibility across AI systems.
  • Build and iterate on a structured LLM visibility report.

 

2) Content Optimization for AI Models

  • Implement Information Gain SEO – enrich pages with unique data, expert quotes, stats, and insights.
  • Develop structured, schema-enriched content that’s more likely to be cited by AI.
  • Ensure proper heading hierarchy (H1-H3) and citation clarity for LLM-friendly attribution.

 

3) Entity & Knowledge Graph Building

  • Optimize brand entity presence in Google Knowledge Graph and Wikidata.
  • Add structured data (Organization, Person, Product, Article schema) using JSON-LD.
  • Strengthen brand’s “identity card” so it’s recognized as an authoritative source by AI models.

 

4) GEO Targeting

  • Research and execute GEO-based SEO for the U.S.
  • Optimize local listings, directories, and citations that LLMs index.
  • Collaborate with content teams to adapt topics per geography & audience.

 

5) Backlink & Brand Mention Campaigns

  • Secure mentions on high-authority, AI-training datasets domains (Wikipedia, Medium, Forbes, etc.).
  • Develop partnerships with publications likely to be scraped by AI systems.

 

6)Analytics & Reporting

  • Build dashboards to track performance across LLMO visibility + traditional SEO metrics (Semrush, Ahrefs, Perplexity analytics, etc.).
  • Identify content that drives AI citations, traffic, and conversions.

     

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in SEO with focus on entity optimization & structured data.
  • Deep understanding of Knowledge Graphs, schema markup, and Google NLP entities.
  • Familiarity with AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Bing Copilot) and conversational response optimization.
  • Tools: Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Perplexity, ChatGPT browsing, Schema.org, and analytics dashboards (Looker, Data Studio, etc.).
  • Strong English and ability to write, test, and refine structured content.

     

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AI-driven SEO tools (SurferSEO, AirOps, Jasper, MarketMuse, Clearscope).
  • Understanding of LLM training data sources and prompt-based testing.
  • Past experience improving brand Knowledge Panels or Wikipedia presence.

     

Example Deliverables:

  • LLM Visibility Audit: “How AI tools talk about GoGloby.”
  • SEO + LLM Content Optimization Plan (with entity map).
  • Quarterly “AI Search Performance Dashboard.”
  • AI Search Citations Tracker (which pages get mentioned in ChatGPT/Perplexity).
  • List of 50 high-authority sites to target for brand mentions.
