Project Manager / Product Owner (Conversational AI)

We are looking for a Project Manager who can also assume Product Owner responsibilities to drive Conversational AI custom development projects. This role combines strong project management skills with a product mindset: you’ll lead project delivery while helping shape the product vision, ensuring alignment between business needs, technical teams, and end users.
 

Required background and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Project Management (experience as a Product Owner or hybrid PM/PO role is a strong plus).
  • Solid experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in risk management and change management.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to participate in high-level technical discussions (development background not required).
  • Experience managing projects with international clients (North America & EMEA).
  • Product mindset: analytical, business-oriented, decision-maker, and comfortable owning outcomes.
  • Skilled in backlog management, requirements solicitation and refinement, and roadmap planning.
  • Passion for AI and Conversational technologies. Previous project experience in the domain.
  • Strong attention to documentation, structure, and process clarity.
  • Ability to work across time zones in a fast-paced environment and with culturally diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Minimum Upper-Intermediate English.
     

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for end-to-end project delivery. This includes managing requirements gathering, estimates, scope, schedule, costs, quality, communication, risks, stakeholders’ expectations, and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a Product Owner when required: define product goals, gather and prioritize requirements, refine backlog, and ensure value delivery for clients.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand business needs, facilitate workshops, run demos, and provide progress updates.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable requirements for the development team, ensuring clear alignment and shared understanding.
  • Drive effective stakeholder management: balance priorities, resolve conflicts, and maintain transparent communication.
  • Manage and support team members, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify business opportunities for clients and propose solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Oversee risk management, including handling change requests and re-prioritizing scope where needed.
  • Maintain clear and structured project documentation and reporting.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the company and help shape delivery best practices.
