IT Administrator / Junior DevOps Engineer
We're looking for a motivated IT Administrator / Junior DevOps to join our growing team and help us build, maintain, and scale our technical infrastructure.
In this role, you will be the core of our IT operations, ensuring our systems are secure and highly available.
You'll work closely with our development and operations teams, getting hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
This is a perfect opportunity to transition from IT administration into a full-fledged DevOps engineering role.
What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain our on-premise and cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
- Automate everything you can using scripting languages like Bash and Python.
- Administer a variety of systems, including Linux (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server.
- Manage users, permissions, and policies in MS Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune .
- Work with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Provide IT support for our team, troubleshooting network issues, hardware, and software.
- Implement security best practices for our networks, servers, and applications.
- Day to day operation and maintenance of a hosted data center environment
- Automation of processes and daily routines
- Works closely with R&D to install, configure, and operate developed features
- Ensure appropriate, accurate, up-to-date technical documentation for Data science environment
- Support and work with Hadoop clusters for big data processing.
What We're Looking For - Proven experience as an IT Administrator or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPN).
- Solid experience with Linux server administration is a must.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with scripting (Bash, Python).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD principles and version control (Git).
- Experience with MS Active Directory and Microsoft Intune administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Strong English skills (B2+) as the role requires frequent communication with our US team.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn new technologies.
Bonus Points - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Hadoop and big data environments.
- Familiarity with RoboShadow for IT operations and workload management.
- Basic knowledge of SOC2, HIPAA, and other IT/compliance certifications.
