System Administrator

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our IT team in Lviv. This role involves maintaining and improving our company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of systems, networks, and user access. We are open to candidates who are in their final years of study and eager to gain practical experience in a professional environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Manage user accounts and access rights through Active Directory and Groups.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Configure and maintain firewall rules at a basic level.
• Diagnose and resolve system or connectivity issues.
• Work with Git and support version control practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
• Understanding of basic information security principles.
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
• Experience using Docker or other containerization tools.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper-V).
• Basic understanding of AWS services.
• Administration of Google Workspace accounts.
• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• English: Intermediate (B1+) or higher.
• Experience: Prior experience in IT administration is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and responsibility in task execution.
