Marketing and Communications Lead to $2500
The Good Plastic Company is an international producer of sustainable surface materials made from 100% recycled and recyclable plastic under the Polygood® brand. Our panels are used in modern, eco-conscious furniture and interior/exterior designs. Since 2018, we have transformed plastic waste into innovative, sustainable materials, delivering over 2,000 projects for clients such as Nike, Adidas, McDonald’s, LUSH, and renowned architectural practices like Gensler, Perkins&Will, HDR, and MVRDV.
With a team of over 80 professionals across 6 locations and 2 manufacturing sites, we serve clients worldwide, from Tokyo to San Francisco, advocating for sustainability and introducing the architectural and design (A&D) market to the unique benefits of recycled plastic.
We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Lead to strengthen our brand presence in the global architecture and design industry. This person will create our narratives, lead storytelling and partnerships, and manage the creation of marketing materials that communicate the value, sustainability, and aesthetics of our materials. You’ll work closely with our sales team, designer, and technical team, shaping how our company communicates with architects, designers, and partners around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Communication & Messaging
- Develop and execute communication strategies for product launches, collections, and collaborations.
- Write and edit compelling content for brochures, website pages, newsletters, and press materials.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all channels and materials.
- Translate technical information into clear, engaging marketing language.
- Prepare content plans and materials for email newsletters and other regular updates to the A&D community.
Campaigns & Partnerships
- Plan and coordinate marketing activities and launches with the internal team.
- Identify and develop collaborations with designers, brands, and institutions.
- Lead photo and video shootings: define concepts, prepare briefs, coordinate creative teams.
- Prepare presentation and communication materials for partnerships, awards, and events.
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Supervise the company’s presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
- Plan content direction and oversee the creation of posts and campaigns.
- Ensure alignment between social media communication, website content, and ongoing marketing campaigns.
- Support community engagement and ensure regular, consistent communication with audiences.
Research & Analysis
- Monitor market trends and communication approaches of leading design brands.
- Analyze results of campaigns and marketing activities, providing actionable insights.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and planning improvements.
Coordination
- Supervise the production team to ensure timely and correct distribution of materials
- Work collaboratively with the designer to ensure brand coherence across visuals and text.
- Prepare task briefs for designers, photographers, and content creators.
- Oversee storage and organization of marketing assets (photos, videos, documents).
- Coordinate day-to-day marketing operations, including updates to brochures, website content, and internal sales tools.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in marketing or communications, ideally in the design, architecture, or materials sectors.
- Excellent English writing and storytelling skills (C1 level or higher).
- Proven ability to create engaging and professional content across various formats.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Creative mindset with business awareness – capable of balancing aesthetics and efficiency.
- Familiarity with sustainable design, materials, or circular economy is a plus
