Head of Retention (iGaming)
We are an iGaming company with over 5 years in the market and a team of 1,300+ professionals. Our portfolio includes 10+ successful projects operating in Tier 1–3 countries and trusted by thousands of players worldwide.
We are looking for a Head of Retention — a strategic leader who will develop and scale multi-channel retention strategies, drive key performance metrics (LTV, ROI, Retention Rate), and lead the CRM team to achieve excellence.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a comprehensive Retention & CRM strategy across multiple iGaming projects.
- Plan and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, push, SMS, messengers, calls).
- Segment the user base, design personalized offers, and develop automated communication flows.
- Analyze player behavior and campaign performance using key metrics such as Retention Rate, ARPU, ROI, Churn, and Conversion.
- Manage and optimize CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
- Lead a team of CRM specialists: set goals, monitor performance, and mentor professional growth.
- Collaborate with marketing, analytics, development, and creative teams to align initiatives.
Stay up to date with industry trends and apply best retention practices in iGaming.
Key Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience as Head of CRM, Retention Lead, or CRM Manager.
- Proven experience managing a team of 5+ people.
- Deep understanding of player lifecycle, segmentation, and engagement flows.
- Strong knowledge of A/B testing, data analysis, and KPI optimization.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and ESP platforms (Smartico, Customer.io, Emarsys, etc.).
- Understanding of multi-channel marketing and retention mechanics in iGaming.
Proficiency with analytical tools such as Google Sheets, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience developing loyalty or VIP programs, dynamic bonuses, or cashback systems.
- Knowledge of dynamic segmentation logic (LDD, wager, GGR, churn).
- Awareness of compliance and communication regulations in different regions.
Experience scaling retention strategies across multiple GEOs (EU, LATAM, SEA).
