We build practical, industry-focused solutions for real logistics operations and customers working in the U.S. market
About the project
Our client operates a Sprinter-van network with 100+ drivers and needs an internal app that replaces manual dispatching calls.
The platform includes a dispatcher web panel and backend powering a driver mobile app for load posting, bidding, and GPS tracking
Core user story:
- Dispatcher creates a load from Atlanta, GA to Charlotte, NC with open bidding.
- The system filters nearby drivers who meet truck dimension requirements.
- Drivers receive notifications and submit bids.
- Dispatcher reviews bids and assigns the load.
- Status updates to βAssignedβ and notifies all drivers.
- The assigned driver completes the job and sees it as completed in their history
Responsibilieties
Design mobile (Flutter) and web (React) screens in Figma
Create components, color palette, and design system
Build simple interactive prototypes
Prepare developer-ready layouts with annotations
Work closely with 2 devs (mobile and web) for UX consistency and responsiveness
Requirements
2+ years of experience in UI/UX (mobile + web)
A portfolio is required
Understanding of component systems and responsive design
Bonus: logistics, B2B, or marketplace UX experience
Project structure
For this position, we are looking for a 120-160 hours of involvement on this project (40 hours a month, 0.25 FTE), or a scoped project plan. If you can finish it faster, we can pay you on delivery. The rate we are looking at is $20/h - $30/h
