PHP / WordPress Developer — DELIFOOD

DELIFOOD is a technology company developing digital services and tools for the food delivery and restaurant industry.

We’re looking for an experienced PHP developer with strong expertise in WordPress/WooCommerce, who writes reliable, optimized, and maintainable code.
 

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modules using PHP 8 / WordPress / WooCommerce;
• Build and customize themes and plugins according to project requirements;
• Integrate external APIs (payments, CRM, logistics, analytics);
• Optimize performance (caching, MySQL queries, database structure);
• Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines;

• Collaborate with designers and frontend developers.

   

Nice to have:

• Experience with server administration (Linux, Nginx/Apache, Exim, Dovecot, SSL, cron, spam and DDoS defense);
• Experience with WordPress Multisite, migrations, and performance optimization;

• Knowledge of Polish language (at a basic or conversational level).

   

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience with PHP 7+/8, MySQL, WordPress, WooCommerce;
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code (OOP, MVC, hooks, filters);
• Knowledge of REST API, AJAX, JSON;
• Experience with Git, Composer, ACF, WPML, WP-CLI;
• Understanding of WordPress and WooCommerce architecture, hooks, and templates;

• Ability to profile and optimize application performance.
