Joomla engineer for Legacy project
Binary Future is looking for an experienced Joomla Developer to join our remote team for a short-term project.

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and improve an existing Joomla-based platform.
- Work with legacy code (PHP 7, MySQL 8, Adminer, jQuery).
- Debug, optimize, and refactor existing functionality.
- Implement small UI/UX updates and ensure responsive performance.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure stable delivery.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of commercial experience with Joomla CMS.
- Strong knowledge of PHP 7 and MySQL 8.
- Familiarity with jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience working with Adminer or similar database tools.
- Understanding of legacy codebases and ability to document changes clearly.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

- Experience migrating or refactoring old PHP projects to modern stacks.
- Familiarity with Linux environments or cPanel hosting setups.
