Data Engineer (Snowflake Focus)

Company is revolutionizing e-commerce advertising by connecting post-purchase shoppers with relevant cross-sell opportunities. Their platform powers promotional ad experiences that appear immediately after checkout — helping shoppers discover complementary products while helping merchants drive incremental revenue.

As a Backend Data Engineer (Snowflake Focus), you’ll design and own the systems that transform massive volumes of checkout data into actionable insights for Falcon’s platform and partners. You’ll work across data pipelines, analytics models, and backend systems that power real-time reporting and optimization.

What You’ll build:

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from PostgreSQL and event streams into Snowflake.
• Develop scalable data models and real-time analytics systems that power insights for our teams and customers.
• Build APIs and internal SDKs that surface metrics and intelligence across Falcon’s platform.
• Automate workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting to ensure reliability and observability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend or data engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake (schema design, optimization, and performance tuning).
• Experience building or maintaining ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Comfort bridging backend systems with analytics workloads and business logic.
• A mindset focused on data quality, observability, scalability, and performance.
• Experience with Snowflake is a must.
