Project Manager Internship at Space Scutum

Space Scutum is a leading company in the field of cybersecurity and antivirus software development. We invite students and graduates to join our internship program as Project Managers, providing a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in managing real IT and cybersecurity projects.
This is a social project for newcomers and students aimed at helping them gain valuable hands-on experience that will serve as a strong foundation for their future careers in the IT industry. Preference is given to students/trainees from Ukraine.

During the internship, you will work closely with our experienced management and technical teams, participate in project planning and coordination, and learn the fundamentals of IT project management in a real business environment. You will gain experience in communication, documentation, and task management using modern tools and agile methodologies.

Upon successful completion of the internship, we may offer employment to the most talented interns or provide recommendations to help you secure positions in other companies.

Internship Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and monitoring of ongoing IT and cybersecurity projects.
  • Participate in project planning, sprint organization, and task tracking.
  • Communicate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Prepare project documentation and progress reports.
  • Learn and apply Agile/Scrum methodologies in real projects.

Requirements

  • Interest in IT project management and software development processes.
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and project lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and eagerness to learn.
  • English proficiency at a level sufficient for communication and documentation.

Would Be a Plus

  • Experience with task-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Notion, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of software development technologies.
  • Experience in coordinating student or volunteer projects.
