We are looking for a Senior FullStack Engineer to join a venture-backed startup that is transforming the quick-service industry with a conversational AI assistant built to handle drive-thru orders with unmatched speed, accuracy, and efficiency. We’re seeking a high-energy, mission-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces continuous learning, and is passionate about shaping the future of AI-driven customer experiences in restaurants.

You will become part of a US-based company collaborating closely with the client to improve, develop and scale a voice AI assistant for drive-thru ordering. The product is already deployed in real-world scenarios and is positioned for rapid growth.

The team’s current goals include:

• Boosting automation for the ordering process with a long-term vision of fully eliminating the need for human intervention.
• Improving the speed, reliability, and accuracy of the ordering process to deliver a seamless experience for both customers and restaurant staff.

As part of the core engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in defining the technical architecture, driving innovation, and building a product that is shaping the next generation of restaurant technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy core components of the AI-driven platform, ensuring scalability, security, quality and high performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver rapid iterations and improvements.
• Make strategic technical decisions that define the architecture, tools, and frameworks used across the platform.
• Integrate AI and LLM-based technologies into production-ready solutions for real-time user interactions.
• Investigate and resolve real-world performance issues, ensuring reliability and exceptional user experience.
• Contribute to shaping technical culture and best practices, including mentoring and supporting future engineering hires.
• Take part in production support duty during daylight hours (7 AM EST – midnight EST), including incidents monitoring and troubleshooting as needed.

Skills Required

• Totally 6+ YOE as a FullStalk engineer with the knowledge and experience i designing and implementing scalable, reliable systems.
• Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs. Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, modern frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
• Experience with cloud platforms(Microsoft Azure, AWS), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Building and maintaining automated testing and deployment pipelines.
• SQL and database optimization (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Ownership mindset and end-to-end project delivery
• Startup mentality and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Problem-solving and debugging complex issues
• Cross-functional team collaboration
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Clear and proactive communication in English

Nice to have:

• Experience integrating AI/ML systems or APIs (LLMs, conversational AI frameworks).
