Senior Frontend Engineer (Rails + Hotwire + Tailwind)- Fluent Italian

Our client, a leading healthcare platform in Italy backed by €20M+ in funding, is looking for a talented Frontend Engineer who loves clean code, reusable components, and excellent UX.

What you’ll do:

 • Build and maintain frontend components using Tailwind CSS, ViewComponents, and ES6+ JavaScript

 • Ensure mobile-first responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and frontend performance optimization (Lazy Loading, Core Web Vitals)

 • Develop and maintain UI/UX design systems and reusable component libraries

 • Write component and E2E tests to ensure high code quality

 • Collaborate with backend using Rails 7+ with Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus), including controllers, services, and complex forms

Requirements:

 • Frontend mastery: Tailwind CSS, ES6+, mobile-first design, strong UI/UX sensibility

 • Experience with component-driven development (ViewComponents or similar)

 • Understanding of frontend performance and optimization best practices

 • Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails and TDD mindset

 • Critical thinking & ownership: identify gaps, suggest improvements, enhance UX

 • Self-directed execution and proactive communication

 • Fluent Italian (team & product communication)

Nice to have:

 • Experience with complex form processing

 • Familiarity with visual regression testing
