Operations engineer to $1500

Duties/Responsibilities:

Order processing

• New phone number ordering and validation
• Phone number porting – TF and Local
• E911, Directory Listing and CNAM record management
• Customer provisioning (New and Change orders)
• TF record management
• DNS records management
• Escalating issues to management

Back End configuration changes

• Installing licenses and patches
• Modifying configuration files

Project activities

• Software upgrades and customer migration
• Mass porting of Local and TF numbers
• New tools evaluation and testing

Documentation and task tracking

• Updating documentation in Confluence
• Tracking all tasks in CRM system and Jira

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Possess a high level of empathy, excellent soft skills, and customer service best practices
• Self-motivated, able to drive tasks to completion
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
• Good time-management skills.
• Motivation to learn new skills and technologies.

Education and Experience:

• 1 year of professional experience in order fulfillment or similar role that involved processing of formalized fulfillment requests and following the well-defined procedures (SOP)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Familiar with informational systems
