Marketing Automation Lead/ Growth Marketing Manager

This role is the first marketing hire, and you will own end-to-end lead-generation systems that scale and deliver measurable business results.
Role Overview
As Marketing Automation Lead, you will:
- Build, automate, and optimize content generation and lead funnel workflows.
- Use AI tools, SEO platforms, automation systems (Zapier, Make.com), and CRM integrations (HubSpot) to create a repeatable, scalable inbound lead engine.
- Own the end-to-end marketing workflow: from competitor research โ content generation โ CMS publishing โ promotion โ analytics โ lead attribution.
- Translate marketing operations into predictable lead flow and actionable insights for the sales team.
Your mission: turn marketing automation into a predictable source of qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
1. Automation & Workflow Building
- Design and implement automated workflows: competitor analysis โ AI content โ CMS โ analytics โ promotion.
- Maintain, improve, and scale these workflows continuously.
2. Content Operations
- Manage AI-driven content pipelines: ideation โ drafting โ SEO optimization โ publishing.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable GPT prompts and templates.
- Coordinate with freelance writers/designers for editing and visuals.
- Implement content performance dashboards.
3. SEO & Analytics
- Identify high-traffic, high-conversion opportunities.
- Set up dashboards in HubSpot/Looker Studio to track organic traffic, CTA clicks, demo conversions, and content ROI.
- Continuously optimize SEO and conversion metrics.
4. Martech & CRM Integration
- Integrate HubSpot or other CRM with inbound channels.
- Implement lead scoring and segmentation.
- Ensure clean data flow between website, CRM, and analytics tools.
5. Growth Experiments
- Test new content types (case studies, videos, interactive tools).
- Run A/B tests on landing pages, CTAs, and email campaigns.
- Experiment with personalization and automation sequences.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years in marketing automation, growth operations, or martech.
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms (Zapier, Make.com, HubSpot workflows).
- Strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, and analytics.
- Familiarity with AI tools: OpenAI / ChatGPT API, SurferSEO, SEMrush/Ahrefs.
- Comfortable working with structured data (Sheets, CSV, APIs).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in B2B software outsourcing, SaaS, or fintech marketing.
- Basic HTML/CSS or CMS experience (WordPress, Webflow).
- Python or scripting for automation.
- Understanding of sales enablement and CRM reporting.
