Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead our product security efforts and ensure the resilience of our next-generation crypto platform. This is a key role in a fast-growing company at the intersection of finance and technology, with full remote flexibility.
 

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain a PSIRT process (Product Security Incident Response Team) for infrastructure and blockchain/on-chain incidents.
• Design and execute incident response processes, including tooling, documentation, and post-incident reviews.
• Lead digital forensics efforts, defining tools, processes, and playbooks.
• Roll out and manage EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) for infrastructure and employee endpoints.
• Implement and manage MDM (Mobile Device Management) for laptops and phones.
• Define and enforce security guardrails aligned with business risks.
• Harden Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and containers, implement admission control policies.
• Maintain and test Disaster Recovery (DR) and backup plans.
• Manage Cloudflare WAF rules, vulnerability management (SAST/SCA/DAST), and AWS/Kubernetes event-based security tooling.
   

Requirements

Must-have:

• 10+ years of experience in security, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Strong expertise with AWS (EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes & Docker in production.
• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Solid track record leading incident response processes.
• Strong understanding of networking (VPCs, load balancing, WAF, DDoS).
• Familiarity with modern monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in FinTech, banking, or crypto services.
• Familiarity with Vercel, Fireblocks, NGINX.
• Knowledge of container scanning tools (Trivy).
• Understanding of JWE, secrets management, AWS KMS.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash).
