Senior legal counsel
We’re now looking for a Legal Counsel to join our legal and compliance team. You’ll help us navigate the fast-evolving regulatory landscape across Europe, support licensing initiatives, and ensure that our business runs in full legal alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead legal support across different jurisdictions (EU & El Salvadore), ensuring the company’s compliance with crypto, financial, and data protection regulations.
Oversee employment and contractor relations — review and update agreements, advise on local labour and tax requirements, and support HR and finance teams in cross-border setups.
Develop and maintain core legal frameworks — Terms of Service, commercial and partner agreements, data protection policies, and internal templates.
Identify and mitigate legal and sanctions-related risks, providing proactive advice on new products, partnerships, and business operations.
Safeguard intellectual property and maintain proper corporate governance across multiple entities.
What We Expect
5+ years of legal experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services, preferably within a regulated environment.
Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial, service, and employment/contractor agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
Experience with licensing or regulatory filings (e.g., CASP, EMI, or other financial licenses) will be a strong advantage.
Ability to work independently and proactively, managing priorities and anticipating legal risks several steps ahead.
Excellent contract drafting and analytical skills in English (B2 level or higher).
Fluency in Ukrainian or Russian for effective internal communication.
Practical knowledge of corporate governance and intellectual property protection.
Business-oriented mindset with the ability to provide clear and actionable legal guidance to non-legal teams.
