PHP developer

Rock&Apps looking for talented and motivated PHP developer🚀 If you already have experience in billing departments, fintech products, or just understand how systems work — we’d love to have you on our team!

This is a new team in our company, but we have big plans for it!
You’ll be one of the first to join, help build processes from scratch, and enjoy fast, smooth growth together with us.

Location: Warsaw. Office / Hybrid

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain the company’s web and billing infrastructure
• Design and support integrations with external APIs (payment gateways, internal tools, etc.)
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and webhook systems
• Integrate and support payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, and others)
• Optimize billing processes

• Participate in architecture design and code reviews

   

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with PHP 7+/8+
• Knowledge of one of the modern frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, etc.)
• Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL, complex SQL queries
• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs
• Familiarity with Webhook APIs (receiving, sending, debugging, logging)
• Experience integrating third-party APIs
• Confident with Git and team-based development workflows
• Understanding of queues and background jobs (Redis, Laravel Queues, etc.)
• Strong debugging and logging skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset
   

Extra points if you have

• Experience integrating payment systems (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
• Understanding of billing and subscription logic (trials, renewals, proration)
• Experience with custom CRM/admin panels or billing dashboards
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Fintech background or experience in building payment workflows
