Data Scientist to $6000 Offline

The Business Data Science team at Noom (www.noom.com) is seeking a mid-level - senior Data Scientist Contractor to build and maintain high-impact models that drive business understanding, forecast long-term value, and evaluate product and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • LTV/CRM Modeling & Data Infrastructure

    - Build, develop, and maintain robust LTV and CRM models, data pipelines, and dashboards

    - Improve model accuracy and scalability as the business evolves

    - Debug and optimize data flows to ensure reliability and reproducibility

  • Strategic Analysis & Insights

    - Proactively identify and investigate LTV/CRM trends and key performance drivers

    - Evaluate unit economics and the impact of product or marketing changes

    - Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes of anomalies and provide actionable explanations

  • Stakeholder Enablement

    - Partner with Growth, Marketing, and Finance to deliver insights that guide investment and product decisions

    - Communicate findings and model outputs clearly to non-technical audiences, both in writing and live discussions

    - Craft compelling data narratives that explain business performance, risks, and opportunities
     

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Data Science or Quantitative Analytics role
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels)
  • Experience in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or machine learning
  • Strong ability to translate technical work into clear business implications
  • Strong English level: ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to perform business modeling and conduct robust statistical analysis
