PHP Developer

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team. In this role, you will take an active part in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions that align with business needs. While the main focus will be on back-end development, occasional front-end tasks will also be part of your work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance using MariaDB/MySQL.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and functionality issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure consistency and high quality of the codebase.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and development best practices.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of proven experience working as a PHP Developer.
• Solid understanding of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Slim, or Zend.
• Strong expertise in MariaDB/MySQL, including complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Good knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with additional databases such as Elasticsearch or ClickHouse.
• Understanding of queuing systems, e.g., RabbitMQ.
