Senior Python developer

Softsich is a young and ambitious international product tech company that develops scalable B2B digital platforms. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Python developer. who’s ready to grow with us and shape high-load, data-driven solutions used by international partners.
 

Requirements

        •        5+ years of professional experience with Python.

        •        Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch.

        •        Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks (Flask, Django).

        •        Proficiency with boto3 and AWS SDK integrations.

        •        Good understanding of serverless architectures and event-driven design.

        •        Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI).

        •        Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK or Terraform).

        •        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

        •        English level: intermediate+ 

Responsibilities

        •        Design, develop, and maintain AWS serverless applications (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch).

        •        Build and improve automation and maintenance scripts for data migration, environment setup, and operational tasks.

        •        Develop and support FastAPI-based services and internal APIs.

        •        Collaborate with DevOps, backend, and data engineering teams to integrate Python components into existing infrastructure.

        •        Participate in the early design and integration of the company’s upcoming ERP system (potentially Odoo-based).

        •        Contribute to establishing best practices, coding standards, and reusable libraries for Python projects.

        •        Support other teams by providing Python expertise and technical guidance when needed.
