Sr Product Owner / Scrum Master

Self Inspection is an AI SaaS platform in AutoTech that is redefining the $30B market for vehicle inspection by delivering end-to-end automation, reduction of costs, and decisive increase in trust and quality to the industry. Our technology uses AI to enable anyone with a phone to complete a computer vision-based guided vehicle inspection in a few minutes, receiving a digital report with body damage estimation. We are looking for a highly organized, bilingual Product Owner / Scrum Master to lead our agile teams and drive product development.

What we are looking for:

As a Product Owner / Scrum Master at Self Inspection, you will be at the heart of our product development engine — leading agile teams, pushing priorities, and ensuring smooth execution of our roadmap. You will work with the Head of Product and Head of IT to curate the product backlog, facilitate agile ceremonies, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features that drive business value.

You will work as a key member of the team, partnering closely with Product and IT leadership to align product strategy with company goals. This role requires a highly organized, communicative, and proactive leader who can translate vision into actionable work, remove blockers, and foster a high-performing agile culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Product Owner and/or Scrum Master for agile teams, facilitating all scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
• Work with Head of Product to define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in alignment with business goals.
• Work with Development resources to stay on schedule, answer questions, remove blockers and support the team in achieving sprint goals.
• Ensure all team members have a curated backlog to complete at all times
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and designers to ensure clear requirements are documented and smooth delivery achieved within budget and timeline.
• Track and report progress, metrics, and team performance to stakeholders.
• Promote agile best practices across the organization and ensure continuous improvement.
• Remove any unwanted noise or distractions to ensure smooth sprint delivery
  
   

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Product Owner
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian (both written and spoken).
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Product Owner.
• Strong understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence in yourself to push back when needed.  Ability to be tough, but not too tough.
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to see problems/issues and act on them without needing guidance

Preferred:

• Experience in Automotive Industry is a plus, but not required
• Experience building software and SaaS products is a must
• Agile certification (CSM, CSPO, PSM, or equivalent) preferred, but not required
