Head of Operations

We’re rapidly growing and are excited to invite Head of Operations to join our Paycord team.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader capable of making daily decisions, diving deep into details, while keeping the broader business strategy in focus and ensuring seamless performance across all functions.
 

You would be running such tasks as:
Strategic & Operational Management

  • Implement business and operational strategies to ensure stable operations.
  • Define and oversee execution of key quarterly objectives across teams.
  • Ensure smooth alignment between commercial and operational units within the department.
  • Strategic alignment: ability to connect day-to-day operations with the company’s long-term goals, translating business priorities into clear operational plans.
  • Process control & optimization: overseeing daily operations with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and productivity improvement.
  • Data-driven decision-making: leveraging analytics and performance metrics to guide actions and improvements.
  • Accountability for operational metrics: defining, monitoring, and continuously improving KPIs that directly impact business performance.

Commercial Activities

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability in the region.

Process Optimization

  • Continuously analyze and improve internal processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement automation and new tools to optimize team performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance on P&L ownership, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Collaborate with Tech on product requirements and task prioritization.
  • Partner with Legal and Analytics teams on business needs.

     

Required skills and expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience in FinTech, E-commerce, or Payments.
  • 2+ years in senior leadership roles managing multiple teams.
  • Proven experience in managing operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem: P2P, payment gateways, banking regulations, and risk management.
  • Excelent payment metrics knowledge — AR, SR, Processing Time, marging, Costs, CBs and other metrics.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken).
