Backend Developer (PHP / Symfony / Shopware)

Project:

We are working with a company that is creating a new ordering platform. The main task is to develop a complex product configurator that will allow customers to enter dimensions, select materials, and view the final product.

The platform also includes a multi-step, business-oriented ordering process: placing an order → installer visit (measurements) → approval/corrections → production → payment → delivery and installation. You will play a central role in implementing these internal workflows from scratch.

Tech Stack: PHP, Symfony, Shopware, MySQL, REST APIs, integrations with payment & delivery systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend logic for complex e-commerce workflows.
• Design and implement scalable architecture for the online store.
• Integrate with external systems (payments, logistics, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams.
• Ensure platform performance, reliability, and security.
• Track time and activities in Hubstaff.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with PHP and Symfony.
• Proven experience building e-commerce or custom business systems.
• Strong understanding of complex workflows and domain logic.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2 or higher).
• Experience with Shopware (or readiness to work with it).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with integrations (payment, delivery, ERP).
• Knowledge of DevOps basics or CI/CD tools.
