Infrastructure / Security Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure / Security  Manager to oversee IT infrastructure and security-related projects on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure security and infrastructure initiatives are delivered effectively. This role will initially focus on Dell systems infrastructure changes and other smaller security and IT projects. It is ideal for a professional who can dedicate 20 hours per week and is available to start soon.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage IT infrastructure and security projects, including Dell system changes and smaller infrastructure/security initiatives.

Coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.

Oversee project documentation, budgeting, and risk management processes.

Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, frameworks, and policies.

Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate with management.

Identify and mitigate risks in infrastructure and security operations.

Support the definition and implementation of best practices in project management and IT security governance.

Requirements:

Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud, endpoints) and security practices (firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability management).

Hands-on experience managing infrastructure changes with enterprise systems (Dell preferred).

Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are highly desirable.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities within part-time constraints.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience in ISO 27001, NIST, or other security compliance frameworks.

Technical background in Dell infrastructure, system administration, or security engineering.

Previous work in international, distributed teams.

Knowledge of B2B contracting models in the EU.
